The retreat has got to be the best 3 days of my life. I love my batch. I love each and everyone of them. I never really thought that they go through so much things. Grabe. When I listened to their problems, I felt like I had so much to go through pa. Most especially sa people in our batch who don't talk too much, the ones I never really got to know. Guys, super I look up to you. Hindi ko na imemention why. It's a tad too personal. Military Secrecy. When we leave, leave it here. :) Okay so..
FIRST DAY-
Nag class pa kami but then saglit lang. Classes were suspended pero we pushed through. Thank goodness we did! We drove to Tagaytay... When we arrived, we left our things in the lobby and went straight to the conference hall to discuss the rules and regulations. The thing I loved about the people there was that they always always made us comfortable, we were never hungry. Super filled kami lagi! They served us buko tart and mango juice. After that, we were given some time to settle our beds and things. Then we had dinner! Lights out was 10 but I think on our first night, we slept at 1. I loved my bedmates, Lauren, Bevs, Hen and Ana. Nung di pa kami makatulog, Bevs and I just shared stories.
Tas biglang, "Bevs... Ang haba nung kinwento ko. Pinawisan ako. Parang inaantok na ko."
Then no one said anything and we were off to sleep! We had to be ready by 7AM for breakfast, being the 'excited' girls that we are, tapos na kaming lahat by 6.
SECOND DAY-
After dressing up, we went to Saint Barachiel Hall na to eat. We were with Sta. Ana. Grabe, it made us so open to one another.:)) OUTGOING???? =)) =)) Out going nga guys! This felt like the longest day. After breakfast, we had this activity about friends. We had lunch and then we went back to the hall and had another sharing activity. There were 44 of us so it kinda took some time to finish. We had an activity about hurts as well. I think it made us understand each and everyone in our batch. Why __ is quiet why ___ can be a bit rebellious... etc. It was a crying day but super saya rin. After the sharing, we had our final song and then we were given our palanca letters. I got letters from the most unexpected people. Thank you, guys.:) This day, they didn't turn off our lights. We just read and read. We got carried away, then we realized it was 3AM! The 4 of us (hen, ana bevs and i) slept altogether. Horizontally in 2 beds. Our first slumber party! HM HM :)) I got letters from the teachers. I love my teachers! Even though I used to say that I loved my soph teachers, I 've learned to love the ones I have now, as well.:)
THIRD DAY-
We were all sleeping so soundly, I saw some sunlight.
"Wow, sarap ng tulog namin ah."
Someone then talked, "6.30 na."
Biglang si Mek, "SHIT 6.30 NA".
Just like that, para kaming chain reaction. UP UP UP. SHOWER!! :)) We went down for breakfast and after that, we went to the chapel. We had this activity na may paper kami sa back and everyone would write something positive about you.
The best talaga si Sir Danao, "Patty, when will you tallen?"
SABI KO, Sir, cherifer lang katapat nyan.:))
Then we had snacks again (we have snacks at 10 and 3 so yeah we're never left hungry), we had mass after. Then it was time for the teachers' speeches. Ang bait ni Mrs. Ricafort ah.:)) We had pictures! Tapos our phones and cameras were given so we had time for pictorials and all that. Sobrang fun. After lunch, it was time to go. We got pasalubong pa! :)
All in all, it was the best. We bonded talaga. We're open about everything now. :) To my batchmates, you guys are the best people I've ever met. Thank you. I'm glad I went.:)
Anica, we missed you.:) Paola and Amiel as well! Doms, Inz, Ruth-- syempre kayo rin!
