I read Karla's post from http://bombastarr.blogspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not really sure but I think I never really believed in Santa. At home, even if I was a kid, I never hung a Christmas Sock and I knew who Santa was... He was Saint Nick! But I also read about the Santa in North Pole, I even have his "real" address. But the Santa that drops by kids' homes on Christmas Eve? That I never believed in. I was happy with the fact that I got gifts from my relatives and that the biggest gift every year would be from my parents. Yeah, it may be corny. The upside is I never got the Santa's-not-real-heartbreak. I remember writing to Santa, though. To his real address, since we were taught how to write friendly letters in grade school. I wrote in Pastel Pink paper with a Pink Metallic Pen... In Calligraphy!
Dear Santa,
I want a Fuschia Pink Gameboy Advance for Christmas. I promise to be a good girl.
Love, Patti
But of course, we never mailed the letter. It's still here, up to this day. I did get my gameboy advance, though! Christmas is 2 days away. I don't feel it for we're giving money to ze kids. There's nothing to wrap. I'm bored.
