It's 11:21 PM and I have exams to study for and yet I felt like I needed to blog to get me focused. As in, focused focused. I just got back yesterday from the Voice of Leadership Camp and it was one of the best things that happened this year. It was all too good to be true! Everyone was SO nice, everything was even better. I can't blog about it tonight cause I know I'll just spend the whole night (at least what's left of it), blogging. Honestly, I couldn't find the creative juices for this blog for the longest time now. I blog in a routine sorta manner- but yesterday we had this speech writing workshop and I guess it changed my way of thinking. I'll just go and type until something flows out of my mind. That's how good the camp was! Okay, now. I don't think I can control!
VOL DAY 1 and 2: Kuya brought me to Volvo Makati and I rode the bus and sat with Mary, Vamie and Ms. Llanto. It was a short trip to Antipolo. A quiet one, too! When we finally reached ELC, I was speechless. I didn't expect to stay in a hotel HOTEL! Especially not in a hotel over-looking Metro Manila with matching helipadS pa! We had a breakfast buffet and a formal dining set up with view! Grabe. I still couldn't get over it eh! It was so nice. SO NICE. (House Bunny!). Sat with the girls and Marinella who happens to be from the South (Zobel) just like me! After which, we had our DISC workshop. It showed our iSight results. I was a high S, which meant I was a "say-no-to-conflict" kind of girl. Which was true! D was the dominants, I the talkers, S the calms, C the specific. IT WAS SUPER SUPER RELEVANT :) We also had to choose a partner and we'd introduce him/her. I got Bea Tan since I've always seen her as a nice girl. SHE SUPER IS! Feeling ko na nga na meant to be kami maging "BFFs" eh. My new BFF is Bea Tan who goes to St. Jude, she appreaciates English and shows and she wants to go to Med School! She's super super cute, you have to see! We finished the session by Miss Selene and we were given burgers after! GRABE. Sagana sa food eh :)) - Had A POTERRY SESSION with Mr. Jon Pettyjohn and his wife! Made a fedora hat model and a pitcher for mom. I LOVED IT! I've always wanted to try working with the pottery wheel. :) We also made a shot glass for Vamie! We related Pottery to Leadership. -Dinner! YUMMEH :) -Went to the Gym and saw CHRIS TIU! He was our ambassador! WOO! PICTURESSS :) - Picture taking (Thanks April!) of Batch 1 in the Helipad. Had jump shots! SUPER NICE :) I shall post once I get them! -GAMES :) GO RED TEAM! Team Mates: Michelle, Rica, JJ, Philip, Reg, Francis. SUPERB! We had the Egg Catcher Auction. Nice strategy guys! :)) We actually had an effective catcher! Unforgettable rin yung Talisman thing, JJ carried me piggy back style while Michelle was carried in front :)) BASTA! YUN! We won a lot of games! SYANG TUNAY! :)) - RELAY! I was the smallest (ehem, syempre) so I was carried again :)) WE WON! - After ze countless games, we were driven by a jeep down the road and to our surprise, there was a bonfire, a band, FOOD (mallows, hotdogs, grills, chips, drinks etc.). Vamie guitared and sang and I just sang with her! We sang Torete. HELLO FIGHTING SPIRIT :)) Had pictures with the guys again! This time we all had our hoodies! We were given a shirt too :) May gangster pics pa kami! Got to talk with people from Volvo. LAUGHTRIP :)) -We were driven back to the hotel, HELLO ROOM MATES AISEN AND PAULA :) We room-hopped and I spent most of the time talking with Vamie, Michelle, Aisen and Georgia! SUPAH FUN :D The hotel had Wi-Fi too and we had laptops so I got to go online! -Woke up at 6:11 and had to be in breakfast at 7! ATE AGAIN :)) -WORKSHOPS :) Life Changing. ENOUGH SAID :) SIR JOEY! IKAW AY SYANG TUNAY NA KARAPAT DAPAT LAMANG, WALA NG TANONG PA :> -SYANG TUNAY X 10! :)) -Another shirt for Day2 :) -We were led to the Theater and we were given our topic, given BALLER IDS! We had balloons, we were shown an AVP of everything we've done together, another shirt! We went out and we grafittied! NICE :) Took pics again! I LOVE BATCH 1 :> YUN! -We had to go, it was sad but it was all good. It made my month and possibly my year too :) To the V to the V to the VOL! To the L to the L to the LVO! VOLVO ROCK :) To the ones I spent most of my time with: Michelle, Aisen, Vamie, Mary, Philip, Georgia, Bea! MERCI (XIE XIE :p) THANK YOU :) BATCH 1 THANK YOU :) Now, I need to focus and it'll be my goal. I WILL DO IT :) Must study early na! I also started jogging today :D GO ME :) |
